okay. a little help. in the massive amounts of seedlings thriving from seed this year, i have misplaced the tags for these and i don't know what this is anymore. it's either sweet basil, or stevia. i doesn't smell like basil, but they were sitting in the sweet basil tagged trays, which i swear i did not move anything there but sweet basil....i could also swear that half of these seedlings look like the sweet basil sprouts here when younger...
if it is stevia, then i might have to transplant the little seedlings that i planted in the the basil area as nothing will keep me from having a good basil harvest this year. good thing i have leftover plants as i may have to transplant some...

my lemon basil looks like the top photo. my sweet looks like the bottom.
i say roll up a leave and slice it into bits and then smell, smell, smell.
steven--i have tasted both. they taste the same...not really like either. it's a conundrum. i wonder if they are too young?
meagan--i wonder if some lemon basil (or other type of basil) seeds were placed in the basil seed packet?
