look what's growing!
so i've discovered i have columbine in my garden bed. since the leaves look like clover, i believe i have weeded this poor thing year after year. it is a white double flower sitting on a pale pink petals. i apologize for the picture quality...i took this picture during dusk excited about the discovery (and tried to adjust as best i could), thinking i would take a picture when it was lighter out. however, the next morning, momma's little helper dragged her stick over it and the bloom fell to the ground. i did buy her a new toy though.....
